I think it’s important to have an idea of what we want the future to look like, even if it seems far fetched. I’ve mentioned before how much science fiction has influenced my philosophy and world outlook. Without having a somewhat clear idea of what you might want, it is quite easy to get calcified or stuck into the patterns we currently occupy. In my research for this project I stumbled across the Game B movement, “an approach to thinking up a sustainable, win-win alternative style of civilization instead of the unsustainable, win-lose model we have now (which we call Game A)”. For the human project at large to be sustainable, we are going to need to solve the education crisis (among others). So, does anybody else want to play a new game with me?
